Financial Coaching

Financial Coaching helps secure a brighter financial future for both Empowerment Staff and Clients. In partnership with Homebase, our Financial Coaching Program meets in person and virtually for 1:1 coaching to empower our clients towards upward mobility.

Works Plus-Youth Workforce Program

Through the Department of Probation, RiseBoro offers the Works Plus program to Bed-Stuy youth, which aims to connect local youth with meaningful workforce and educational opportunities to advance their career prospects and enhance their economic well-being. To participate, you must be between 16-24 years old, and you must live in the 81st Precinct.

Rising Stars

In partnership with Tremco, RiseBoro offers a youth workforce development program to introduce career pathways in sustainable construction. This seasonal program works with youth in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, aged 16-24 years old. 

Trainings are In-person at 1875 Broadway, Brooklyn NY 11207. Meals and MetroCards are provided. 

Participants can: 

  • Learn directly from Industry Leaders on architecture, HVAC, green buildings, roofing, and more! 
  • Earn the GPRO Certification and additional credentials; 
  • Post-program internship opportunities
