Ritha Pierre, Esq. is General Counsel for RiseBoro.

Ritha Pierre has been an attorney with our organization for the past four years, steadily rising from Associate General Counsel to her current role as General Counsel. With over 14 years of legal experience, Ritha has developed a broad range of expertise in labor and employment law, compliance, corporate governance, and risk management. In her leadership role, she oversees all legal operations, providing strategic counsel to ensure that the organization’s legal initiatives align with its mission and values.

Ritha’s educational background is as impressive as her legal career. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from St. John’s University, a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, and a Master of Science in Bioethics from Columbia University. Her strong academic foundation has equipped her to handle complex legal issues with a focus on ethical decision-making and community impact.

Beyond her legal work, Ritha is deeply involved in community service and social justice initiatives. She has been instrumental in leading impactful initiatives, such as immigration relief programs and advocacy efforts that champion the rights of marginalized communities, as well as spearheading projects designed to empower underserved populations. Her commitment to advocacy, both in and outside the legal field, highlights her dedication to fostering equity and opportunity for all.
