Vanessa Womble was born and raised in Williamsburg Brooklyn, where she still resides. She earned a BA in Economics at Hunter College. She went on to achieve an Executive MBA and MS in Human Resources from St. Joseph’s University. 

Vanessa worked for Delta Air Lines at LaGuardia and JFK Airports for over thirty years. Having started as a Ticket Agent, Vanessa quickly rose to the ranks of Hub Manager, supervising 750 employees, and then to General Manager, supervising over 2000 employees. During those years, Vanessa was recognized for leadership in team building and customer service. 

Vanessa has served for the past seven years as the Board President for Lindsay Park Housing, a twenty-one-member Board. Lindsay Park is the largest Mitchell-Lama Housing Cooperative in Brooklyn. Under Vanessa’s Leadership, Lindsay Park has been designated the best performing Mitchell- Lama in the City of New York. 

Vanessa’s experience with overseeing Capital projects includes a 4-billion-dollar construction project at LaGuardia Airport and Lindsay Park’s first major capital improvement project in 60 years.
