Matt Lawyue

VP Marketing and Communications

Matt Lawyue is the Vice President, Marketing and Communications for RiseBoro Community Partnership. He is responsible for guiding the non-profit’s external and internal communications strategies, as well as marketing, branding, and storytelling through its owned channels.

Previously, he served as the Vice President, Communications for the Central Park Conservancy, where he guided the non-profit organization through some of the biggest moments in Central Park history. This includes opening the $160 million Davis Center at the Harlem Meer, unveiling the Gate of the Exonerated (the first named entrance since 1862), and redesign of the 6-loop road Drives. Prior to the Conservancy, Matt was a Vice President at BerlinRosen Public Affairs, and guided communications strategies for the Urban Institute and WeWork. He began his career as a sports journalist in New York City.
