Our Seniors In Their Own Words
Employee Highlight
Ramon Reyes
Porter, Housing
Ramon Reyes, Porter and 32BJ shop steward, has been an outstanding advocate for the maintenance staff and a key partner in fostering greater cooperation with management. As a result the first labor-management working group met this past month, which brought together RiseBoro Leadership and Staff to discuss problems and find solutions to make our housing team stronger. Ramon’s dedication continues to drive meaningful dialogue and he would like to use this highlight to shine a light on the amazing coworkers he has and all the hard work they do.

Home 4 Good
The Home 4 Good program recently held an incredible panel discussion and meeting, bringing together our partners and community leaders to collaborate on innovative ways to prevent homelessness and evictions in NYC. A big thank you to all the amazing speakers who contributed, and to Trinity Church for graciously hosting the event. Stay tuned for more videos featuring their valuable insights, coming soon!
A Night to Remember
This week we celebrated RiseBoro’s continuous evolution at our annual Gala, reflecting on the journey of growth and innovation that has shaped our organization. This year’s theme—building a brighter future on our solid foundations—honored our past achievements while highlighting the ongoing work toward progress and positive change. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our communities, the dedication of our staff, and the generosity of our partners and donors.
“The Story So Far”
My Voice Theatre recently celebrated their 26th year of performances with a successful run of the play “The Story So Far”. Written and performed by eight talented young people from Bushwick and the surrounding community, this collection of monologues and scenes tackled important issues and sparked meaningful dialogue for change.
