A Snapshot of RiseBoro Education Programming

Employee Highlight

Jodian David

Administrative Assistant, Brevoort OAC

Jodian David first joined the Roundtable Older Adult Center as a volunteer, bringing warmth and compassion to every interaction. Inspired by the kindness and resilience of the older adults she worked with—and recognizing the importance of respecting and honoring our elders—she decided to join the RiseBoro team. Jodian now continues to make a positive impact every day, helping to uplift and support the older members of our community.

Our Community

Meals on Wheels

This holiday season, we are delivering FREE meals to seniors in our community, ensuring that every older adult feels the warmth and comfort of a holiday meal. We’re also looking for volunteers to help make this happen—bringing meals and holiday cheer to our neighbors.

Toy Drive

This holiday season, join us in bringing joy to our community at Maria Hernandez Park with our annual toy drive! We’re collecting toy donations to ensure every child experiences the magic of the holidays and are in search of volunteers to help us share the cheer. Whether you donate a toy or lend a helping hand, your support makes a difference.

JFK-Hilton Conversion Update

Recently a team from RiseBoro Community Partnership, including CEO Kieran Harrington and Housing division members, toured the JFK Hilton conversion project along with development partner SD Builders, and Queens Chamber members Tom Gresch and Brendon Leavey. This visit marks a pivotal step in the project’s progress, as it paves the way for a thoughtful and innovative reimagining of the hotel space into a vibrant residential hub, thanks to the dedication and vision of all those involved.

Hybrid College Program
