Philip Charles-Pierre is an entrepreneur and technology executive with more than 25 years of experience building B2B and SaaS platforms. He is passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficiency, build strategic partnerships, and deliver measurable business impact. Throughout his career, he has focused on building organizations that expand access, improve efficiency, and create long-term economic opportunity. Alongside his business career, he has maintained a deep and sustained commitment to civic and community leadership.
Most recently, Philip served as Co-Founder and CEO of Semsee.com, a commercial insurance platform connecting insurance agencies with carriers and MGAs. Under his leadership, Semsee grew to serve more than 10,000 agencies and over 50 carrier partners nationwide through a SaaS quoting platform, a digital wholesale operation, and a licensing platform serving brokers, networks, carriers, and MGAs. Semsee was acquired by Adir ventures.
Previously, Philip co-founded and served as CEO of Opus.me (acquired by Vetty), a platform providing verified personal and professional data that helped transform the verification and background-check industry. He also held senior leadership roles at Smarter Agent (acquired by KellerWilliams), Direct Brands, Guideposts Media, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Site59 (acquired by Travelocity), where he led digital innovation initiatives and built large-scale strategic distribution partnerships.
He continues to serve as a trusted advisor and board member to emerging technology ventures and established organizations.
Philip previously chaired the board of the Edeyo Foundation, which operates a primary school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, providing educational access to children in one of the Western Hemisphere’s most under-resourced communities. He also serves on several nonprofit boards, including as Vice Chair of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the MZ Alumni Foundation.
