Choncy Corbin

Community Health Worker

You work for the community, in any aspect they need—food, jobs, housing, resume help—making sure they’re good.” Choncy is a dedicated Community Health Worker who joined RiseBoro after realizing through her involvement with the Red Hook Initiative that helping others could become her profession. Her proudest moments come from the little things, like noticing a community member without a coat in the winter and connecting him to a coat drive to ensure he stayed warm. She truly embodies what it means to serve the community with compassion and purpose.
