Bill Reidy

VP Advancement

Bill Reidy is a senior advancement and philanthropy professional with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling fundraising programs, donor strategies, and institutional capacity across education, faith-based organizations, and mission-driven nonprofits.

Prior to RiseBoro, Bill held senior advancement leadership roles at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), where he helped strengthen major gifts strategy, expand high-capacity donor engagement, and build partnerships with leaders across the hospitality and corporate sectors. His work focused on developing durable fundraising infrastructure, improving principal gift strategy, and translating institutional priorities into compelling, donor-ready opportunities. During his tenure, CIA exceeded campaign goals and expanded its national donor footprint through targeted cultivation and experiential philanthropy.

Earlier, Bill served as a senior leader with the Come To Believe Network, a nonprofit launching and scaling a two-year, Jesuit-inspired college model for first-generation and low-income students. He played a central role in establishing the organization’s advancement function, including designing donor strategy, recruiting and activating early supporters, and translating a new institutional vision into a credible philanthropic case for investment.

Bill also held leadership roles at Sacred Heart University, where his focus centered on major gifts and leadership engagement during a period of institutional expansion. While there, he supported capital initiatives and board-level philanthropy and contributed to the continued strengthening of advancement practices.

Across these roles, Bill has consistently built programs, not just managed portfolios. He has designed donor pipelines, created leadership giving societies, structured campaign strategies, and partnered directly with presidents, CEOs, and boards to translate strategy into execution. He is known for building practical systems that convert philanthropic interest into sustained support and measurable institutional outcomes.
